Russiana Cruises is a trading name of Russian Gateway (UK) Ltd, the UK's leading British owned and managed Russia travel specialist.
Russian Gateway (UK) Ltd was founded in 1999 with the specific aim of filling a large gap in the UK travel market for a Russian travel operator with a passion for customer service. Due to our unique product and service we are now eating well in to the market share of the big stuffy state run travel organisations and are proud to say we have a large number or repeat clients. We adhere to all UK and EC regulations regarding the sale of air and package travel in that your money is kept safe until after you return from your holiday.
Russiana River Cruises was set up to provide value for money luxury cruises between Moscow and St.Petersburg, mostly to the UK market but over the past
seven years, increasingly to the USA, Australia and South Africa. We are the only UK company dealing with cruises exclusively to Russia. Our knowledge of the routes, the visa process, the ships mean you receive first hand info from the experts.
We are very selective regarding the provision of our travel services in Russia and have our own fully owned offices in Moscow and St.Petersburg with professional and courteous staff. Our guides are the best you will find and will go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. We use the finest ships sailing the Volga with staff trained to a very high standard in all aspects of customer service - from waiters to your cruise director everyone will do their very best to pamper you as you sail these scenic routes.
In 2004 we attained some new landmarks for example by chartering a full ship for 215 American passengers on a religious mission ! We designed the entire programme in close conjunction with the group's management and the cruise was a huge success. We followed this up in 2005 with another group charter in May, once again for a religious mission. Both cruises were unrivalled successes due to our diligent and precise planning. Also in 2005 we have organised a large group of members of the International Food and Wine Society of the United Kingdom.
In both 2007 and 2008 we have continued to consolidate our
position as the leading groups cruise operator to Russia.
All of our UK staff have lived in Russia, know Russia and the Russians and travel regularly to Russia. There is no other operator like us in the UK. We are small but the service is personal, and all your queries will be answered promptly. For luxury river cruising between Moscow and St.Petersburg it has to be Russiana as recommended by the Sunday Telegraph on the 7th of January 2007 (we don't feel the need to take out half page colour ads in the Sunday supplements when the Travel Editors write about us in articles).
